Route Information
Routes travel through residential and rural sections of Dakota, Rice and Scott Counties. Route maps will be given to ALL riders at registration the morning of the ride. All routes include indoor and outdoor bathrooms and rest stops with services.
The 100 mile route is delightful and challenging. It leaves Lakeville HS heading West to Jordan, then to Belle Plaine, Montgomery, Lonsdale, Northfield, and back to Lakeville HS. It’s a challenging, diverse route, mostly on rural roads and includes 5 indoor rest stops.
The 62 mile route is mostly rural and also visits Lonsdale and Northfield. Rolling hills and moderately traveled county roads make for a pleasant ride. There are two rest stops on this route.
The 30 mile route is really a showcase of Lakeville. Watch for lakes, parks, a welcoming community and a few good hills to get your heart pumping. New for 2008, there will be two restops along the route: One outdoor water reststop at 9 miles, and one indoor rest stop is at the route mid-point (18 miles). Families should make sure their children are capable of riding 30 miles.
